If you are employed and aged 16 to 18 years old then all apprenticeships are fully funded.
If you are employed and aged 19+ years old then all apprenticeships are co-funded. In other words, your employer is expected to contribute towards 50% of the fees; this could be in cash or ‘in kind’ or a combination of both depending upon the level of the apprenticeship undertaken.
If you are unemployed and on active benefits then apprenticeship funding is not available to you. Please take a look at what is available through ‘Train to Gain’ funding.
